Alex came out today for my annual sump pump inspection. He did a thorough inspection and then made a recommendation that made perfect sense to me. He was efficient and left zero signs that he had been here. I appreciate the explanations he gave me about various things. I fully trusted him and look forward to his return next year. Dry Basement Sump Pump Check & Installation We scheduled our annual sump pump check with Dry Basement as we usually do before the spring wet season starts. Alex, the technician, arrived on time for our appointment. Alex has been doing this type of work for over twenty years, and it shows! He showed me how the pumps were operating as he tested the pumps by filling the sump pit with water from a hose. The primary pump was working like a champ, but the backup pump was struggling to get the water level down to where it should be. No surprise really, as the backup pump was nearly 14 years old. Alex was able to replace the pump in a short amount of time. When he finished the installation, he demonstrated how the pump was working. The installation of the pump was neat and professional. I really appreciated Alex taking the time to explain the operation of the pumps. He’s not only a great technician, but he’s an educator as well! If you’re lucky enough to get Alex as a technician, be sure to listen to what he tells you. He truly has the customer’s best interest in mind when he does a job. Also, Dry Basement installs Zoeller pumps, which are well built, rugged and dependable. No doubt about it, Dry Basement will be coming back to our home for a pump check next spring!

Alex arrived for annual maintenance on my sump pump and battery backup. He tactfully pointed out the wear and tear signs on my 12+ year system, which gets a LOT of action in rainy season. He didn't push a sale of new system, but peace of mind is essential to me, so he installed a new system. I have always appreciated the company's professional and knowledgeable service.
